Bio

Music From the Icy Coast is a sonic landscape combining rock, electronic, and downbeat

elements fueled by captive vocals, guitars, live drums, bass, and tasty electronics. Their

live performance was described by the Stranger Magazine as a "big atmospheric rock vibe

that has commercial radio breakthrough seemingly written into all aspects of their work".

From the Icy Coast was named a 2002 CMJ finalist in their search for "America's best

north of conventional music by creating and defining a style all their own.

In the winter of 2001 Howie Sennet began writing songs for the Icy Coast. By early 2002,
